We’re taking a field trip! Pack your day bag and join us at Penrith Weir for a multi-hour bird-a-palooza exploring this incredible spot home to Bell Miners, Dusky Woodswallows, Red-rumped Parrots, White-winged Trillers, Brown Quails and so much more. The early bird gets the worm and we’ll stroll through this stunning location as the sun warms the day. Bring your lunch or snack.

Walk Details: We’ll explore this incredible reserve on a flat paved path as we take our time to observe the birds there.

Some of the exciting birds we mighhhttt see along the way: Dusky Woodswallow, Bell Miner, Red-rumped Parrot, Brown Quail, White-winged Triller, Red-browed Finch, Superb Fairywren, Yellow-faced Honeyeater and more :)

This walk is recommended for beginners or anyone who wants to have fun! Sydney Bird Club was founded by a couple of fun-loving artists (Stephanie and Amy from Outer Island). Our walks are a way for us to share our love for birds and the beautiful city we live in. Good vibes only!
